In Stormwind, the child king was furious. Yelling and screaming was heard throughout the castle, echoing off of the polished marble hallways which it was made of. If one listened carefully, one could also hear the calm yet obviously annoyed Bolvar Fordragon respond to the king. Longing for the days of the battlefield rather than the task of babysitting the child king, Bolvar was arguing with the king about something as trivial as the material of which the king's seat cover was made of. Bolvar sighed and asked for which reason the gift from King Magni Bronzebear was not sufficient.

Arduin cried out, "IT SMELLS FOUL, IT SMELLS OF MOUNTAIN RAMS!"

He then added, "I want a tiger skin. A real tiger skin -- like the ones we see in the magazine Pimp my Steed!" The king's posture was now reduced to that of a sniveling brat.

Bolvar attempted to reason with the King one last time, but his patience had run out, and the King responded to his reasoning with a threat which he could not allow to happen: "If you don't get me a Tigerskin I will tell Magni's daughter that her bum is fat!" Bolvar had lost this verbal confrontation, much because his patience was running thin but also because he did not want to deal with the consequences of insulting the heiress of the dwarven empire.

He retreated from the throne room and met up with his reliable captains of the guard. "Captains!" he paused for a second while letting out an audible sigh. "The King requests tiger skins for his seat cover. Send at once some of your finest warriors to the lands of Stranglethorn where they will speak with the legendary hunter; Nessingwary. He will tell you all that you need to know for this mission."

Meanwhile, on the other side of Azeroth, the Warchief in Orgrimmar was having some troubles of his own. Bested by the one Orc who dared command the Warchief directly -- his wife -- Thrall was stuck listening to the inane ramblings of "high class woman" "Our curtains in the bathroom..." she said -- "they need replacing. Have some of those little minions of your fetch me some tiger skins." She continued: "I will use this skin to make new ones which will surely impress our guests. Having bathroom curtains befitting of the Warchief's wife is not too much to ask, now is it dear?" She turned to Thrall who had long since learned that arguing with his wife on homely matters such as this one was futile.

"Yes dear," he replied. It was easier this way. No nagging, no bickering and most importantly -- no cold shoulder that night.

Thrall climbed down off the catapult he had been admiring and working on for the past few hours. Of all his obedient servants, he revered one particularly -- the one named Rexxar. He summoned Rexxar to his presence and asked of him to send his hunters to Stranglethorn. Thrall went on to say that he seemed to recall a master hunter in the land of raptors and feline beasts named Nesingwary. "Seek this hunter out," he commanded. "He will tell you where you may obtain the tiger skins for my wife. Now go, go at once."

The dice were thrown as if by fate itself. With the two enemies both heading to the same camp to obtain the same material, the outcome was easily predictable. To a certain degree, that is. Which side would have the upper hand at the end of it all? Find out for yourself by lending your strength to either the Human King or the Orc Warchief.

Only the bravest and most capable hunters can bring down this prey, for it is both large and strong -- not to mention swift and ferocious... and deadliest of all; it is extremely cunning and shrewd!

The prey is, of course, dragons: creatures of infinite beauty and deadliness. Many hunters have lost their lives and limbs in foolish attempts at slaying these beasts. Yet this has not discouraged the hunt, for many covet the glorious trophy and prestige that comes with slaying a dragon.

Dragons are mostly solitary creatures, both rare and elusive. They prefer distant and wild territories and they rarely venture into populated areas. It can take many months to find this prey.

It is known that a large dragon has settled in the distant Hinterlands and perhaps it is not alone. An expedition will soon venture out to hunt this dragon, but many brave adventurers and hunters are needed if success is to be achieved. You are hereby invited to join this hunt and to share the glory and riches that will come with the kill, but know this; if you are not up to the task at hand, the dragon's maw will claim your life!

“Moooo! Mooooooooooooooo!”

Hooves were heard in the distance. Loud, stomping and accompanied by the hunters' gathering horns. It was that time again. As far south as in Dustwallow Marsh, and as far north as in Ratchet they were heard. Critters, beasts and animals alike knew this sound well. All too well, in fact.

“Mooooooooooo! Moo!”

The time had come for the Tauren traditional hunt. Ever since the ancient times this has been an event celebrated by all Tauren alike. Their goal, to hunt down the legendary wooly kodo; Tanka'Mani.

The message has been sent to all Tauren in Azeroth.
Come one, come all – prove your worth and celebrate your Tauren pride and heritage!”

I found myself walking through the streets of Orgrimmar on this unusually hot day. Everywhere around me was life and laughter, fun and even a few drunks in the alleyways. I could hear the brutish orcs yell at full voice, all the way from across the city in the Battlemaster area. Today, however, was not one I had planned to spend fighting or sparring with my friends and companions.

The auction house was packed as usual; full of trinkets, rings, cloth and other junk that people found valuable. Outside, the many traders could be heard advertising for their wares. “[Dirge]! [Dirge]! Who wants to buy my [Dirge]?” – A whimpering young troll was trying to gain a few coins. I shook my head and thought “What on earth will they think of next?”.

“The most beautiful and se…grrrmplhhhhh”, a badly dressed advertiser was quickly muzzled and towed away by the city guards; this Tauren had been reported wanted to the authorities.

“Oh, that!” I grinned gleefully as I made my way towards the bank.

Just then I noticed an unfamiliar text pinned to the wood above the mailbox.

Big food fun Ball Feast!
Adnaw wo'mon be old, one year be my day!
Come fun celebrate! Be dressed like sea hu'mon!
On Sea Hu'mon Ship next to Ratchet
Day 3 of May at hour 20!
Bring Stuff!

“Fantastic!” I thought to myself - “I have a party to attend to next Saturday!”. I quickly wrote up some letters and used the mailbox by the bank to alert some friends. “What is a party without people?”. I sent about a dozen copies of the invitation out; letting my friends know what was up and to spread the word. I mumbled to myself “Great! Perhaps even a few good looking honeys will come too!” as I lost myself to daydreaming…

The Birthday Party will be a night to remember.

"What?!? - an expedition from our elven friends of Quel'Danas has been savagely slaughtered by the dwarves of Dun Garok?" Word spread swiftly to all the dark corners in the Undercity. Soon enough, it had even reached the ears of Lady Sylvanas. The Banshee queen was furious - perhaps urgent news and updates from Quel'Danas had been lost. Only one thing could be done now; Blood must be answered with blood.

The drums of war were heard as the Banshee Queen announced the charge on Dun Garok. Revenge on Ironhill; Revenge on the dwarves.

As the dwarves of Dun Garok received confirmation of the Forsaken and their assault plans, they sought desperately for the assistance of their kin and human allies. Alas, their pleas for help fell on deaf ears; The Humans and Dwarfs claimed that Captain Ironhill and his men had brought this damnation on themselves. Nobody would send help, nobody - but one.

Captain Ironhill received word that his friend from old, Gribbly Tykalbolt was gathering forces and marching to his assistance. Surely, he thought, this would put an end to the undead and their allies once and for all. Perhaps this battle would even become one of the largest that Hillsbrad had ever seen. Ironhill prepared his squad of riflemen and put out the drinks and feast in anticipation; His friends and allies were sure to be greeted warmly.

Now, only two days remain before the Forsaken and their friends were to reach the lands of Hillsbrad; both the alliance and horde prepare for battle. Come one, come all; Lay waste to your enemies and bask in the glory that is victory on the battlefield!

This weekend an event will take place that is very important for the tribes of the Horde.

In order to prepare for spring and to scare away the evil spirits of winter, the witchdoctors will perform a ritual that will bring good fortune for the hunters and bountiful harvest for the farmers. Spring must be welcomed properly if the coming seasons are to be kind.

The night of the Harvest Song is an ancient tradition amongst the tribes of the Horde. It is a night that everybody looks forward to with great anticipation, for it is a night of masks, bonfires, song and stories, where all are invited.

The evil spirits are weak now that the winter has passed, yet they can still cause great trouble if they are not scared away. The best way to ward off the evil spirits is to laugh at them, and on this night, revelling and merrymaking will certainly frighten away the cold.

Come ready to whoop, dance, drink and scare the bad spirits away.

Soon there will be a gathering of representatives from all the major faiths of the Alliance. The Alliance is surrounded by evil forces from all directions, and the fragile cease-fire with the Horde may break at any time. If the Alliance is to have any real chance of withstanding these threats, it is important that there are no internal conflicts.

The best way to prevent internal conflict from happening is to increase understanding and respect for one another. This is a wisdom that has been acknowledged by the spiritual leaders of all the major faiths, and as such they will attempt to enlighten each other and the general populace by sharing their teachings.

The Holy Light, Elune, Druidism and Shamanism will be as one for a single day in an attempt to reach a consensus on important questions and topics such as the compatibility of the major faiths of the Alliance, the things that members of each faith are striving to achieve, the little insignificant differences that often leads to hostility, the things that define who we are and who we are trying to become.

Anyone who thinks they have knowledge on these matters is free

A young warrior arrives in Sen'jin village to see a large group gathered there too. As he approaches he hears the end of a speech being given by a troll standing in front of the crowd:

"..you are not your weapon. You are not how much money you have in the bank. Here is where you will prove yourself. Let the brawl begin!"

The crowd applaud and cheer and begin to disperse. There are names being taken and bets being placed all around and the young warrior moves around watching gleefully as various match-ups come together in a bloody-fisted clash.

Unable to restrain himself any longer, he approaches one of the organizers:
"I want to fight."
"No weapons allowed. Still want to fight?" the orc replies.
The warrior nods and his name is added to the list.

The 2nd Sen'jin Brawl-O-Mania is under way.

Pimp My UI
It's that time of the week again, and as per usual, Xenoronin brings us through the world of Arena Addons with Pimp My UI. This week's edition, number 47, also houses a nice little interview with the addon developer "Hezekiah" - or as he is more commonly known as: "Rabbit."

This Week, On The Forums:
Are you an auctioneer? Is your calling the "buying and selling?" This guide might just be something you'd want to read!

World of Warcraft is also a world of wonders. From time to time, these wonders make you go "holy crap!"

Personal preference seems to play a role in group/raid composition. What class do you prefer as your main tank?

WoW houses players with many preferences. The question this time is, how many use a Mac to play WoW?

And lastly, slightly off topic: Which movie is better: Fifth Element or The Predator.

Have a wonderful week everyone!

Friends! Allies! Enemies and foes! Pick up your weapons, sharpen your swords and clear your magical minds. The war that was once deeply engraved in everyone's bones is about to begin anew. The forsaken of the Undercity and the gnomes and dwarves of Ironforge are about to stand face to face, once again, in the heat of battle, marching upon the strongholds and cities of their foes.

The steadfast dwarves and tinkering gnomes are leading the crusade on the side of the Alliance, with the intention of driving the forsaken out of the Eastern Kingdoms before bravely laying siege to the orc stronghold itself; Orgrimmar. The news of the possibility of a final charge on the Horde has spread to houses and taverns across the lands and preparation can be seen in every village and city in the surrounding areas.

However, news of the planned assault has not gone unnoticed by the forsaken. Aware of the impending threat, they have rallied their own crusade, recruiting help from their allies in the west and planning their own charge on the dwarven city of Ironforge. Echoes can be heard in the halls of the Undercity; "Death to the Brozebeards! Death to King Magni!"

Let the battle begin!
